Information About PMBOK 6th Edition

PMBOK (Project Management Body Of Knowledge) is a globally recognized standard by PMI (USA) for managing and executing projects.  It consists five process groups, namely Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing. There are 49 processes that have been recognized by PMI as the best practices in project management. These processes are distributed in nine Knowledge Areas, including Integration, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, HR, Communications, Risk, Procurement and Stakeholder Management. There are several challenges project teams face during each of the five process groups. However, PMBOK guides the project managers how to accept these challenges.
